My personal belief is Graduation occurs at the end of one’s school journey…usually grade 12.  I make an exception with our older friends at Mountain View.  We had a graduation at the year end to accentuate that this school year was over and next year would bring new Kindergarten children to the program.  The transition between school years – and children – can be difficult for participants who have created strong intergenerational bonds. A year end celebration gives warning of an end to be followed by a new beginning.
